Visit to Stoke Fleming Christmas Fayre

On December 9th, The Fleet Care Home in Dartmouth took some of our residents down to Stoke Lodge Hotel, for their yearly Stoke Fleming Christmas Fayre.

It was a great event for wonderful local businesses within Dartmouth to showcase their offerings to the local community. Some of the local businesses included Kimberley's Kreations, Ditsy & Stitch, Simply Sweets and Soft & Scented. It is always great to see these very local business owners as they have all in the past supported us at The Fleet, with gifted items for raffles that we host throughout the year.

The hospitality that we were shown at the fayre was excellent. The residents got to enjoy a lively hot drink and mince pie. They were making some purchases in the range of stalls, to get gifts for their loved ones.

At Christmas time we love to spread cheer and offer hope to all. By visiting the Stoke Fleming Christmas Fayre, residents were able to show unconditional love and acceptance, along with the cheerful atmosphere that prevailed from the event. Residents got into the winter spirit and cherished the opportunity to get involved in the community Christmas Festivities.
