The Fleet Care Home Celebrates a Mammoth Month of Activities
The Fleet Care Home has wrapped up another exhilarating month of activities, making July one of the most memorable and engaging months of the year. Residents were treated to a diverse array of events and experiences, ensuring that there was something for everyone to enjoy.
The month was marked by a series of musical performances from the talented Bob & Isabelle, Joe Dostal and Zara King, who provided delightful entertainment that had residents singing along and tapping their feet. These musical sessions brought a joyful and lively atmosphere to The Fleet, creating cherished moments for all who attended.
In the spirit of Wimbledon, residents also participated in a fun and energetic balloon tennis session. This activity not only celebrated the famous tennis tournament but also encouraged physical activity and friendly competition among residents.
The activity calendar didn’t stop there. The popular Knit & Natter group continued to be a favorite, offering a cozy and social environment for residents to share their knitting projects and enjoy each other’s company. Bingo sessions provided excitement and anticipation, while time spent in the garden allowed residents to bask in the summer sun and appreciate the beauty of nature.
