Painting Session in The Café Area
Today marks the 1st day of Autumn so we thought what better than to do an autumnal arts & crafts session painting the different coloured leaves that we found in the garden.
This afternoon, it was lovely to encourage friendships between the floors and we had a painting session in The Fleet's cafe area. Conversations were flowing as people spoke about all kinds of things like previous jobs, childhood memories and even what hidden talents we might have had.
The highlight was being serenaded by John who played us a few songs we could sing along too. A truly wonderful atmosphere and a great time enjoyed by all.
Today's pieces of art will go towards a giant autumn-themed collage that will be displayed in a communal area for everyone to see. We are excited to see it completed.
